Hai'an New Port Passes National Ro-Ro Passenger Ferry Service Standardization Pilot Acceptance

From December 25 to 26, entrusted by the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China, Guangdong Provincial Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision organized experts to evaluate and accept the Hai'an New Port National Ro-Ro Passenger Ferry Service Standardization Pilot Project.

After the two-day site evaluation, Hai'an New Port successfully passed the National Ro-Ro Passenger Ferry Service Standardization Pilot Acceptance with a high score of 93.5 points, being the first national standardization pilot in the field of Ro-Ro transport. The successful acceptance marks a new breakthrough made in standardization of service quality of the Ro-Ro transport sector in Qiongzhou Strait, and even all over China. Haian New Port has now played a key role in preparing standards for Ro-Ro transport throughout China, set up a benchmark for the industry, and has proactively promoted the “standardization” of Ro-Ro transport services.
