Mozambique Office’s Assistance to Maputo School Wins Commendation from the Government

In rainy season, persistent rain brings trouble for the living of some residents in Maputo while cools the hot summer.

Recently, the back wall of a classroom in a school about 5km from Zimpeto Interchange of Ring Road Project undertaken by CRBC was destroyed by a heavy rain, forming a huge gully that seriously endangers the safety of teachers, students and school buildings.

Aware of the situation, CRBC Mozambique Office attached great importance, and immediately organized personnel, school representatives, municipal personnel and regional principals for site investigation and negotiation about the renovation. After several days of tight construction, the damaged walls were all renovated, the gully was filled and leveled, and the alarm was cleared, offering the students a safe environment.

The governmental departments highly recognized CRBC’s tenet of building roads and bridges, and contributions to the society, and expressed their thanks to CRBC for their satisfied performance of social responsibilities, as well as the outstanding contributions made to the infrastructure construction sector in Mozambique.
