In his speech, CRBC Chairman Lu Shan introduced the development of CRBC in Africa and the Republic of Congo, and then shared three suggestions: first, we should enhance the infrastructure construction, as it is the basis for the development of a country and an important link towards modernization. Second, we should drive the development of agriculture, industry and even the full industry chain via development of industry parks by referring to CRBC’s experience in other African countries, and the successful and potential projects are new Pointe Noire Mining Port and Pointe Noire Industry Park. Third, we should proactively fulfill our social responsibilities to integrate into local society. Over the past years, CRBC has funded 100 Congolese students to further their study in China. Meanwhile, CRBC has always followed the principle of environmental protection, attached great importance to the harmonious relationship with local residents and proactively facilitated their daily life by maintaining access bridges, drilling wells, etc. during construction.

CCCC President Liu Qitao made a concluding speech at the end of the seminar. He expressed the gratitude to Congolese experts for their unselfish sharing and targeted suggestions, responded enthusiastically to the expectations of the Republic of Congo, and noted that he will report the outcome of the seminar to the visiting delegation. He hoped that the two countries’ economic circles could further accelerate and deepen cooperation, and make joint efforts to promote the economic development of the two countries.
