The Section IV of (Deep Cement Mixing System) DCM Project of Three-runway System Project of Airport Authority Hong Kong has set records in three aspects: first, it is the first time to treat undersea soft foundation by applying DCM technologies in Hong Kong; second, it is the first complete DCM project under CCCC; third, it is the first large maritime project of CRBC Hong Kong Branch. During construction, CRBC overcame diverse unfavorable factors, such as difficulty in introducing DCM technicians, lack of construction experience, insufficient effective construction period, exceeded types and quantities of undersea construction wastes, and completed the section with zero safety and pass rate of 100% ahead of other four DCM sections, winning great praise and full recognition from Airport Authority Hong Kong, which fully represents CRBC’s first-class management level and outstanding performance capabilities, and lays a solid foundation for CRBC and even CCCC to further expand its construction market in Hong Kong.
