CRBC President Du Fei Meets with Delegation of the Government of Gambia

On June 12, CRBC President Du Fei met with the delegation of the Government of Gambia comprising the foreign minister, finance minister, industry & trade minister, public works minister, energy minister, agriculture minister and Ambassador to China in CRBC headquarters. CRBC Chief Engineer Sun Yaoguo was also present.

CRBC President Du Fei extended warm welcome to the delegation, and introduced them conditions of CRBC’s projects in Gambia, especially the latest progress of the Construction of the Banjul Port Extension Project tracked by CRBC. He noted that CRBC has accumulated rich experience in project financing and implementation after years of efforts in Africa, and hoped that both parties could sign the commercial contract for the Project within the shortest time with the great support from the Government of Gambia.

Ousainou Darboe- Head of the Delegation and Foreign Minister of Gambia extended the gratitude to CRBC’s invitation, and highly praised the achievements made by CRBC. He hoped that both parties could strengthen the cooperation and accelerate the implementation of the Project.

Bai Lamin Jobe- Public Works Minister of Gambia extended the gratitude to CRBC for preliminary work done for the Construction of the Banjul Port Extension Project, and hoped that both parties could keep contact and enhance communication, put project financing in place, and that CRBC could participate in more infrastructure construction projects in Gambia.
