Prime Minister Silver of Cape Verde Visits CCCC HQ

On September 6, CRBC President Du Fei accompanied CCCC Chairman Liu Qitao in meeting with Ulisses Correia e Silva- Prime Minister of Cape who visited China to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.

CCCC Chairman Liu Qitao first extended warm welcome to Prime Minister Silva for his visit to CCCC, and briefed him on CCCC’s operations across the globe. He briefed the Prime Minister on the progress of projects promoted by CRBC in Cape Verde and extended sincere gratitude to the Prime Minister for his long-standing support for CCCC and CRBC. He noted that as the largest international contractor in Africa, CCCC covers a wide range of businesses and has a full industrial chain advantage in many fields, especially in infrastructure construction. He expected to cooperate with the Government of Cape Verde in an all-round manner with CRBC’s various projects as platform.

Prime Minister Silva highly appreciated the strength of CCCC, and noted that CCCC and its subsidiary CRBC have complete a remarkable number of landmark projects and are well-known across the global. The Government of Cape Verde is willing to draw on the development experience of China’s special economic zones and give priority to relevant projects. He hoped that CCCC could proactively participate in project investment and construction, and promote the initiation of related cooperative projects within the shortest possible time. He emphasized that the Government of Cape Verde will provide favorable conditions and facilities for the development of CCCC in Cape Verde.
