CRBC Vice President Li Gang Accompanies CCCC Vice President Wen Gang in Meeting with Togo President

On the morning of September 6, CRBC Vice President Li Gang accompanied CCCC Vice President Wen Gang in meeting with Faure Essozimna GNASSINGBE- President of the Republic of Togo who came to China to attend the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation. Both parties happily reviewed the past history of cooperation, and had in-depth discussions and exchanges on potential cooperation projects in the future. CCCC Overseas Business Department President Chen Zhong and CRBC Vice President Li Gang were also present.

Faure Essozimna GNASSINGBE noted that torrential flood in Togo destroyed many important bridges in 2008, and CRBC gave immediate support in time to repair the damaged bridges and restore traffic, laying a good foundation for the cooperation between both parties in the future. Since then, CRBC has successively built a number of fine projects in Togo to boost the infrastructure development of Togo. The Togolese government and people are very grateful for this. The president hoped that both parties could continue to make contributions to the friendship between the two countries by establishing more diverse cooperation in a wider area in the future.

CCCC Vice President Wen Gang extended the sincere gratitude to the president for his long-standing trust and support for CCCC and CRBC, and briefed the president on the global business layout of CCCC and its successful experience in other countries. He noted that CCCC is willing to continue to play its own advantages, participate in Togo “2018-2022 Development Plan” in depth, and make greater contributions to the economic and social development of the Republic of Togo.
