CRBC President Du Fei Attends the Tenth IIICF

The Tenth International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum co-hosted by China International Contractors Association and Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute was held in Macao from May 30 to 31. CRBC President Du Fei attended the Forum, held business talks with guests from various countries and signed cooperation agreements with them. At the Forum, CRBC won the award of “Outstanding Contributor in the Tenth Anniversary of the International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum”.

During the period, Du Fei had the trilateral meeting with Aileen Anunciacion Roa Zosa- Executive Vice President of Bases Conversion and Development Authority (BCDA) of the Philippines and the British Business Delegation led by Tom Duk- Minister Counsellor of the International Trade Department, British Embassy in China. The parties had extensive and in-depth exchanges on how to strengthen the cooperation in the Philippines and other markets under the context of “the Belt and Road Initiative”.

At his meeting with Osman Nurković- Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Telecommunications of Montenegro, Du Fei extended the sincere gratitude to Osman Nurković for his great support for the Bar-Boljare Highway Project, and noted that CRBC will make all endeavors to ensure the smooth completion of the Project. Osman Nurković highly recognized the comprehensive strength and sincerity of CRBC. The parties also had in-depth exchanges on other cooperative projects.

While meeting with César Angusto MBA Abogo- Minister of the Ministry of Finance of the Equatorial Guinea, Du Fei noted that CRBC will proactively cooperate with the reform proposed by the Government of Equatorial Guinea, and hoped that the parties could have extensive cooperation in more fields. César Angusto MBA Abogo extended sincere gratitude to CRBC for its long-term involvement in and great contributions to the economic development of Equatorial Guinea. The parties then had in-depth discussion on further increasing investment and expanding the cooperation fields.

Du Fei also met with Stephen Barnes- Global Head of Power and Infrastructure, the Standard Bank of South Africa. The parties had in-depth exchanges on deepening the existing cooperation, as well as the prospects of cooperation in project financing and other aspects.

At his meeting with Kwasi Amoako Attah- Minister of the Ministry of Roads and Highways of Ghana, Du Fei noted that CRBC will always fully cooperate with the Ministry of Roads and Highways of Ghana to complete feasibility studies of relevant projects as scheduled and proactively promote the follow-up matters. After the meeting, CRBC signed the memorandum of cooperation on prioritized road and bridge projects with the Ministry of Roads and Highways of Ghana.

At the reception dinner, CRBC won the honor of “Outstanding Contributor in the Tenth Anniversary of the International Infrastructure Investment and Construction Forum. Kan Jun- CRBC President Assistant and General Manager of Hong Kong and Macao Branch accepted the award on behalf of CRBC. This award reflects the full affirmation of CRBC’s comprehensive strength in the field of infrastructure contracting. During the Forum, Kan Jun was also invited to attend and made a speech on the parallel forum on Innovative Cooperation Boosts Sustainable Infrastructure under the Belt and Road Initiative.
