Leaders of CCCC and CRBC Attend SPIEF 2019

From June 6 to 9, CRBC Chairman Lu Shan accompanied CCCC President Song Hailiang in paying a working visit to Russia. During the period, President Song Hailiang attended the 23rd St. Petersburg International Economic Forum upon the invitation, presented at the meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and entrepreneurs, and paid a visit to Li Hui- Chinese Ambassador to Russia. Zhou Jingbo- CCCC President Assistant and Chairman of CCCC Dredging (Group) Co., Ltd., Chen Zhong- President of CCCC Overseas Business Department, Peng Dapeng- Vice President of CCCC Overseas Business Department, and CRBC Vice President Yang Xuesong also attended the visit.

On June 6, President Song Hailiang participated in the parallel forum of “Borderless Shanghai Cooperation Organization: Integration of Transportation Infrastructure” as the only Chinese speaker. In his speech, President Song Hailiang noted that transportation infrastructure has played a fundamental, service, leading and strategic role in regional economic development and social progress across the globe. In the future, we should make full use of hi-tech means to serve the construction of international channels and boost the integrated development of traffic infrastructure in Shanghai Cooperation Organization regions through mode innovation with the focus placed on green development.

On June 7, President Song Hailing attended the “Sino-Russian Business Dialogue”. He noted that we should continue to promote infrastructure connectivity, improve the transportation and logistics networks, and create a “hard environment” for trade growth under the context of comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Russia in the new era.

On June 9, CRBC President Lu Shan accompanied President Song Hailiang in paying a visit to Li Hui- Chinese Ambassador to Russia, in Moscow. President Song Hailiang extended the sincere gratitude to Ambassador Li Hui and the Embassy for their long-term support for CCCC and CRBC, and briefed the Ambassador on CCCC’s market performance in Russia. Ambassador Li Hui warmly welcomed the delegation and encouraged CCCC and CRBC to keep strengthening the friendly relations between the two countries under the context of comprehensive strategic partnership of cooperation between China and Russia in the new era. Fan Xianrong- Minister Counselor of the Chinese Embassy in Russia was also present.
