Africa Star Organized Railway-themed Publicity Campaigns
Date: 06/25/2019Africa Star has launched a series of publicity campaigns themed with “Knowing, Cherishing and Protecting Railway” since this April with a view to create a safe and harmonious environment for operation of Mombasa-Nairobi SGR and strengthen the awareness of residents along the railways in cherishing and protecting the railway.

In this campaign, the Chief Safety Officer of Africa Star disseminated knowledge about railway safety to school faculties and students, and residents in communities, villages and towns along the railway, invited Kenyan railway policemen to explain the harmfulness of destroying railway materials and equipment to them, and further expanded the coverage by printing and distributing railway safety knowledge brochures, presenting the public with souvenirs printed with icon that symbolizes cherishing and protecting the railway, etc.
