Sava River Bridge of E763 Expressway in Serbia Closed

Early on the morning of June 25 local time, the left mid-span of main bridge of the Sava River Bridge, the controlling project of Surcin-Obrenovac Section of E763 Expressway in Serbia, was successfully closed, marking the completion of left span of the Sava River Bridge, as well as the concrete works of the main bridge structure of the Sava River Bridge.

On June 27, a delegation led by Zorana Mihajlović, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure of Serbia, paid a special visit to the construction site of E763 Expressway, accompanied by Chen Bo, Chinese Ambassador to Serbia, Tang Xiaodong, Commercial Counselor of China to Serbia, and Zhang Xiaoyuan, CRBC Vice President and General Manager of the Central and Eastern Europe Regional Center.

As the Serbian Section of Pan-European Corridor XI, E763 Expressway connects Belgrade, the Capital of Serbia, to Bar Harbor, the sea gate of Montenegro, and is the most efficient and convenient access to the sea in Serbia. The Surcin-Obrenovac Section and the Prilina-Pozega Section in Serbia are built by CCCC and CRBC. With a main span of 175m, the main bridge of the Sava River Bridge is the controlling project of the Project, ranking among the world’s best bridges of the same type in terms of span.
