CRBC Signs Commercial Contract for TIÉBISSOU-BOUAKÉ Expressway Project in Cote d'Ivoire

On November 3, CRBC Cote D’Ivoire Office duly received the commercial contract for TIÉBISSOU-BOUAKÉ Expressway Project (TRAVAUX DE CONSTRUCTION DE L’AUTOROUTE YAMOUSSOUKRO – BOUAKÉ_ SECTION TIÉBISSOU - BOUAKÉ (96 KM)) approved by the Ministry of Budget, and the General Manager of CRBC Cote D’Ivoire Office visited the Prime Minister’s Office to report the project preparations to his Excellency Amadou Gon COULIBALY- Prime Minister of Cote D’Ivoire.

The Primer encouraged CRBC to rapidly promote the construction of TIÉBISSOU-BOUAKÉ Expressway in a high standard and build the Project another model for the cooperation between Cote D’Ivoire and China. Amédé Koffi KOUAKOU- Minister of Economic Infrastructures, DOSSO Adama- Ambassador of Cote D’Ivoire to China, and other governmental officials were also present.

With a total length of 96km, TIÉBISSOU-BOUAKÉ Expressway Project starts from the town of TIÉBISSOU in northern Yamoussoukro, Capital of Cote D’Ivoire and ends at BOUAKÉ, the second largest city of Cote D’Ivoire. With the design speed of 130km/h and construction duration of 36 months, this dual two lanes expressway is the largest road project in Cote D’Ivoire after war, and the Ministry of Economic Infrastructures is the Owner.

The Project will significantly improve the traffic capacity and efficiency between southern and northern Cote D’Ivoire, and even with Burkina Faso, Mali and other neighboring countries to its north.
