211 Project with full name “KIFANGONDO- NEGAGE highway reconstruction project in Angola (Portuguese: Empreitada de reabilitação da estrada Kifangondo-Caxito-Uíge-Negage)” has 30 months’ construction period, which started on December 13, 2005 and came into use in August, 2008.

The starting point of 211 road project is located in the town of Kifangondo, the northern suburb of Luanda City, and then extends northward through Caxito City, the capital of Bengo Province;  Uige City, the capital of Uige Province, and eventually to Negage city, Uige Province, the important town in agriculture. The project with 357 kilometers in length is affiliated to the basic network of Angola highway.

As nearly 200 km road of the project is in the primeval forest, there are rough terrain changes, many mosquitoes and poor construction conditions. But the staffs of the office could be able to overcome all kinds of difficulties, and finally the project was completed five months ahead of schedule and won high praise from Angola government. The president José Eduardo Dos Santos attended completion ceremony of the project and cut the ribbon for it. At the same time, the project also successfully won the "2012 National Quality Project Award" and "High Quality Project Award of CCCC ".

During the peak period, the project created more than 1,300 job opportunities for Angola. After the completion of the project, the traffic capacity of transport corridor in northern Angola has been greatly improved and at the same time the resource development in the central region of Angola has been greatly promoted, which greatly contributed to the economic development in central and northern Angola.
