Bassac River Koh Thorn Bridge Project in Cambodia extends from No. 21 Highway on the western bank of Bassac River in Politun Village, Koh Thorn County, Kandal Province to the second unsurfaced road (No. 110 Highway) on the eastern bank of Bassac River. It is 830m long in total, with the bridge of 421m long. Its construction started on March 15, 2014; the construction period in the contract is 36 months. As an important component of Cambodia National Highway Network Construction Plan, it is of important significance to improve the accessibility of the highway network, enhance the service level of the highway network, improve the traffic environment on both banks and promote the economic development of both banks.
