President Lu Shan Meets with Minister of State of Madagascar

On February 17, President Lu Shan met with Mr. Narson RAFIDIMANANA – Minister of Presidential Projects, Territorial Renovation and Equipment and Minister of State of the Republic of Madagascar at the Company. Both parties had an in-depth discussion about the business development of the Company and future development prospect in Madagascar.

President Lu Shan expressed his warm welcome to the visit of Mr. Narson RAFIDIMANANA. He said the friendship between China and Madagascar had a long history and that Madagascar Office was also one of the offices with the longest history of the Company with operating achievements for over 30 years. The Madagascar Capital Airport Expressway Linking Road Project promoted and constructed by CRBC was delivered and open to traffic last year, and this project was greatly supported by the top government leaders of Madagascar, including Mr. Narson RAFIDIMANANA. Tananarivo-Tamatave Expressway is also being actively promoted now. The construction of this project will further promote the social and economic development of the areas along the line, promote the transformation and upgrading of the relevant industries, and effectively drive the employment. He hoped that the government of Madagascar could list this project as a national priority project.

Mr. Narson RAFIDIMANANA expressed his thanks to CRBC for its great contributions to the infrastructure development of Madagascar. The improvement of infrastructure is the footstone of start of the fast national development, and CRBC promoted a series of projects from the perspective of Madagascar with the well-being of people and social and economic development of Madagascar as the starting point. He hoped that CRBC could continue to closely cooperate with the government of Madagascar and deepen the width and depth of cooperation.
