CCCC President Chen Fenjian and CRBC Chairman Wen Gang Pay a Working Visit to Bangladesh

From October 13 to 14, Chen Fenjian - CCCC President and Wen Gang –CCCC President Assistant and CRBC Chairman paid a working visit to Bangladesh. During the visit, they had talks with Mr.Pabanchowdhury –Chairman of Bangladesh Industrial Park Authority, Mohammad Nizamuddin Ahmed –Commander of the Navy and Khandker Anwarul Islam –Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Transport and Director of Bridge Authority of Bangladesh, respectively.

During the talk with Mr.Pabanchowdhury –Chairman of Bangladesh Industrial Park Authority, both parties had a full communication about Bangladesh-China Industrial Park Project. President Chen Fenjian said CCCC was an internationally well-known infrastructure contractor and investment operator and also a bellwether of Chinese enterprises “going global”, and that it carried out construction and operation of industrial park projects in several countries in the world and had rich experience. Mr.Pabanchowdhury expressed his welcome to the visit of the delegation led by President Chen Fenjian. He said since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China and Bangladesh had always kept a mutually beneficial and friendly relation, that the total volume of trade between two countries increased constantly, and that Bangladesh welcomed CCCC and Chinese investors to develop and invest in Bangladesh.

During the talk with Mohammad Nizamuddin Ahmed –Commander of the Navy, both parties communicated about the cooperation in establishing the joint venture dredging company and further strengthening the infrastructure field. President Chen Fenjian said CCCC and its subordinate enterprises would like to carry out cooperation with Bangladesh in such fields as dredging, port investment and construction and provide world-class service for the economic development and infrastructure construction of Bangladesh. Mr. Mohammad Nizamuddin Ahmed expressed his thanks to the contributions of CCCC to the construction of Bangladesh and expected to establish a mutually beneficial and win-win partnership with CCCC.

On October 14, during the talk with Khandker Anwarul Islam –permanent secretary of Ministry of Transport and Director of Bridge Authority of Bangladesh, Mr. Khandker Anwarul Islam spoke highly of the cooperation projects with CRBC and recommended the key projects planned by the Bridge Authority, and he hoped that CCCC and CRBC could widely participate. President Chen Fenjian expressed his thanks to the Bridge Authority for its constant support for CCCC’s work, and hoped to carry out wider cooperation with the Bridge Authority. CRBC Chairman Wen Gang said as for the project recommended by the Bridge Authority, CRBC would send the most excellent team to make substantive tracking and provide the best service for the infrastructure construction of Bangladesh.

Chen Zhong–General Manager of CCCC Overseas Business Department and PengDapeng – its Deputy General Manager, Tang Qiaoliang–President of CHEC and Vice President Liu Hong of CRBC were also present at the above activities.
