President Lu Shan Calls on Thomas, Minister of Transport of Angola

On August 1, President Lu Shan called on Augusto da Silva Thomas–Minister of Transport of Angola during his working visit to Angola. They had an in-depth communication of the progress of Caio New Port Project.

President Lu Shan expressed his thanks to the government of Angola and Minister Thomas for their support for the project, and introduced the progress of Caio New Port Project in detail. He vividly displayed the preliminary preparation, design, entry of equipment, materials and staffs and the recent work plan through PPT, and said that this project was an important overseas project of CRBC, so the Company would invest advantageous resources and manpower to submit a high-quality and high-level new port project to the government and people of Angola.

Minister Thomas repeated the important significance of this project and his support for CRBC. He said Caio New Port Project was of great significance to the economic development of Cabinda, North Angola and even the whole Angola, so it had been brought into the national supported projects of major concern, and attracted much attention of the government and people of Angola. After the completion of the project, it would greatly improve the current situation of employment and trade of Cabinda, exert a positive effect on the economic development and political stability of North Angola and inject new vitality to the social and economic development of the whole Angola. He said the government of Angola would spare no effort to help CRBC promote the progress of this project.
