Introduction

China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) Mozambique Office was established on December 8, 2011. So far, the Office has completed Maputo Bypass Project, and now, it is constructing Maputo Bridge and Link Roads Project, Mutalala-Mutuari Railway Project, and AM Municipal Road Project.

Historical Moments

On September 5, 2012, a delegation led by Aires Ali- Prime Minister of Mozambique inspected the Maputo Bypass Project undertaken by CRBC in heavy rain in the company of Zhou Yong- General Manager of CRBC Mozambique Office.

On September 20, 2012, Armando Guebuza- former President of Mozambique attended the commencement ceremony of Maputo Bypass Project.

On the afternoon of July 4, 2013, Alberto Vaquina- Prime Minister of Mozambique inspected the Maputo Bypass Project undertaken by CRBC.

On September 17, 2013, Armando Guebuza- President of Mozambique led a delegation to inspect Maputo Bypass Project undertaken by CRBC in the company of Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mayor of Maputo City and local government officials.

On November 24, 2014, Armando Guebuza- former President of Mozambique inspected Maputo Bridge and Connecting Line Project in the company of Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mayor of Maputo City and the owner.

On April 15, 2015, Iolanda Cintura- Chief Executive of Maputo City inspected Maputo Bridge and North Connecting Line Project.

Main Activities

From late 2014 to early 2015, the northern regions in Mozambique suffered serious flood, and Chinese enterprises in Mozambique represented by CRBC Mozambique Office donated 10 tons of rice to Instituto Nacional de Gestão de Calamidades.

The “Children’s Future Fund” of Mozambique First Lady Office is dedicated to improving the living conditions of vulnerable groups in Mozambique. To support the operation of “Children’s Future Fund”, CRBC Mozambique donated USD 200,000 to the Fund on June 24, 2015. Zhou Yong- General Manager of CRBC Mozambique Office took photos with the First Lady H.E.Mme.Isaura Concalo Nyusi.

To guarantee the employees’ health, reduce the HIV infection risks, ensure the work quality and complete the Project with superior quality,

On April 21, 2016, Division I of South Connecting Line donated milk to 1,500 pupils from 6 elementary schools including Ecola Primaria Completa de Catembe Nsime and Escola Primária Completa de Massindla in Bela Vista along the line in the company of Silva J.Magaia- President of Maputo Sul (the owner), in a bid to improve their dietary structure and nutrition supply, and help them build better immune system.
