Serbia Office

Introduction

China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) Serbia Office was established in August, 2010, and was successfully registered in Serbia on December 10 of that year. On June 6, 2011, the Office held the addressing reception.

The Office centers on Serbia and radiates the construction of projects in the infrastructure field of Balkan Peninsula and even the whole Central and Eastern European market.

At present, there are four departments under the Office – Business Department, Engineering Department, Financial & Assets Department and General Office.

Historical Moments

October 23, 2009: Preliminary contract for Zemun-Bolza Bridge and Auxiliary Connecting Line was signed in Serbia

April 15, 2010: Commercial contract for Zemun-Bolza Bridge Project was signed

June 7, 2011: Wei Jinghua- the then Chinese Ambassador to Serbia and Counselor attended the addressing ceremony of CRBC Serbia Branch

January 23, 2012: The First Vice Prime Minister of Serbia (Interior Minister) Daqiqi, Speaker of the City and Walter inspected the Project.

March 9, 2012: Bevich- Deputy Mayor of Belgrade City, inspected the Project

April 16, 2012: Former Serbian President Tadic and Belgrade’s Mayor Djilas, and CRBC Vice President Hou Jinlong inspected the Project.

Main Activities

The Project Department of Zemun-Bolza Bridge Project organized 2012 Spring Festival Art Performance

May 4, 2012: The Project Department and local government authorities organized joint water rescue drills.

August 17, 2012: Families of employees of the embassy and Chinese enterprises visited the construction site

September 12, 2012: Chinese and Serbian employees learnt Chinese and Serb from each other

The Project Department of Zemun-Bolza Bridge Project organized friendly basketball matches with the supervisor and local subcontractors.
