Tajikistan President Attends Opening Ceremony of A Road Project

On August 6, CRBC held the Opening Ceremony for the Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Kangurt-Baljuvon-Khovaling Road,it undertakes in Tajikistan. Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon attended and addressed the ceremony.

President Emomali Rahmon highly recognized the excellent technical expertise and management capability of CRBC in performing the Project. He extended sincere gratitude to all the employees for their great efforts that facilitate the satisfactory completion of the Project four months ahead of schedule. As he noted, CRBC is one of the first enterprises setting foot in Tajikistan and has undertaken dozens of projects in Tajikistan, including Tajikistan-Uzbekistan Road Project, Phase I Project of China-Tajikistan Highway and Corridor III Highway Project, making significant contributions to Tajikistan’s infrastructure development. He hoped that CRBC could continue to make full use of its strengths and expertise to facilitate Tajikistan’s infrastructure development.

The owner of Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Kangurt-Baljuvon-Khovaling Road is the Ministry of Transport of Tajikistan. With the contract duration of 18 months and measuring 42.5km, the Project was commenced on July 9, 2018 and mainly involves the renovation of bridges #1~4 and construction of bridges # 5~6. After completion, the Project will dramatically facilitate the travel of citizens, reduce transport costs and promote local tourism and trade development.
