Hun Sen Witnesses the Opening of 1551 Project & Highway 55

On the morning of March 9, the commencement of Cambodia 1551 Project and the opening ceremony of Highway 55 undertaken by CRBC was held in Bodhisattva Province of Cambodia. Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and Chinese Ambassador to Cambodia Wang Wentian attended the ceremony and gave their speeches respectively.

Hun Sen spoke highly of the comprehensive strategic partnership between China and Cambodia, and highly praised CRBC for having no fear for overcoming the hardships during the project construction and finally completing construction of the highly difficult project Highway 55.

Wang Wentian extended congratulations to the opening of Highway 55 and the commencement of Project 1551, affirmed the achievements made by CRBC in the field of infrastructure construction in Cambodia, and hoped that the Company would continue to do a good job in the construction of new projects.

At the ceremony, Hun Sen awarded Zhan Jinsheng, CRBC Deputy General Manager and General Manager of CRBC Cambodia Office, the “National Construction Medal” (Top Level).

Highway 55 and Project 1551 of Cambodia form a crossroad between Battambang, Bodhisattva and Koh Kong in the grain production area of western Cambodia, constituting the traffic artery of the whole western region of Cambodia, establishing a fast pass from Battambang, the “Cambodian granary”, to Koh Kong Port, and greatly promoting the economic development of western Cambodia.
