The World Bank Delegation Spoke Highly of the Jabihu Road Project in Rwanda

Recently, the World Bank delegation inspected the second bid section of the Jabihu Road Design, Construction and Maintenance Project under construction by CRBC in Rwanda. John Peter, Minister of Works of Rwanda Road and Bridge Authority, Springer, Secretary General of Jabihu Municipal Government and other local officials accompanied the inspection.

The World Bank delegation inspected the construction site of the main line of the Project, listened to the overall report on the implementation of the Project, and highly praised CRBC for its excellent performance in the project progress, local employment, and safe and civilized construction. The delegation stressed that the Jabihu Road Project is one of the key projects invested by the world bank in Rwanda. The project construction is of great significance to improve the city traffic, and promote the development of animal husbandry, forestry, and tourism along the route. It is expected that CRBC and the local government could make joint efforts to complete the project as soon as possible and achieve new results.

The second bid section of Jabihu Road Design, Construction and Maintenance Project is 33 kilometers long. It is one of the key projects in the branch road project plan of 4 provinces and 6 cities in Rwanda. It runs through two national forest parks, Nyungwe and Gishwati, passing through the largest alpine black tea plantation and a 15-kilometer natural pasture in Rwanda. It is an important part of Rwanda's goal to build an African Conference Center, and is of great significance to promote Rwanda's green development and national tourism plan.
