On November 14, CRBC Chairman Lu Shan attended the Signing Ceremony of Implementation Agreement for Two China-aided Manila Bridge Projects in the Philippines. The Implementation Agreement was signed by Zeng Huacheng- Deputy Director-General of Agency for International Economic Cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce of the P.R.C and Mark William- Minister of Department of Public Works and Highways of the Philippines on behalf of China and the Philippines respectively.
On November 15, the Launching Ceremony of Two China-aided Manila Bridge Projects in the Philippines was held in the Office of President of the Philippines. Chinese Premier Li Keqiang and President of the Philippines Rodrigo Duterte attended and inaugurated the projects. CCCC Vice President Wen Gang and CRBC Chairman Lu Shan were also present upon invitation.
On November 13, CCCC Vice President Wen Gang held the working meeting for Internal Organizations of CCCC in the Philippines. CRBC Chairman Lu Shan was present.
On November 6, China Construction Industry Association held the Thirtieth Anniversary of Luban Award and 2016-2017 China Construction Engineering Luban Award Commendation Conference, Zemun-Bolza Bridge in Serbia and Tayan Bridge in Indonesia undertaken by CRBC won 2016-2017 China Construction Engineering Luban Award. This is the first time that Luban Award was awarded to two projects from the same company, and is also the second time CRBC wins the award after its Surabaya-Madura Bridge won the award 7 years ago in 2010.
On November 4, the field exchange meeting for prefabrication and installation of T girder for KKH Phase II Project was successfully held. Meanwhile, the “Example Building and Excellent Project Creation” activity was held to promote the construction quality of KKH Phase II Project.
On October 31, Chinese Embassy in the Republic of Congo sent a letter of thanks to CRBC Congo Office and its member Hou Le for their thoughtful services during the visit of the Peace Ark Hospital Ship to the Republic of Congo.
