The Party’s Whole-line Building Work Meeting of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project is Held

From March 18 to March 20, the Party’s whole-line building work meeting of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project was held.

At the meeting, the attendees listened to the report on the construction arrangement and progress of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project and the report on the Party building work of the project.
Yao Yanmin - department Party secretary of CCCC and deputy director of Party Work Department read the decision on establishment of the CPC CCCC Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project Headquarters Working Committee and its members.

Yang Liqiang - CCCC deputy Party secretary and Vice President gave a speech, fully affirming the achievements in Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project since its commencement and raising requirements for the project construction and Party building work of the project. He stressed that the department should pay much attention to the strategic significance of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project, carry out Party building work according to the requirements of being professional, pragmatic, featured, integrated and innovative, strictly implement the indexes of the Party Central Committee and CCCC Party committee about "running the Party strictly", stick to carrying out the Party's mass education line practice, implement the requirements of "being strict in three aspects and pragmatic in three aspects" and guarantee the smooth implementation of the project.

CRBC President Lu Shan, in his concluding remarks, expressed his thanks to CCCC Party committee and Overseas Business Department Party committee for their attention to, care and support for the Party building work of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project, and put forward suggestions on the Party building work of the project. He believed that under the strong leadership of CCCC Party committee and with the joint efforts of all the Party cadres of the project, the Party building work of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project would present a united and positive situation and escort the smooth implementation of the project.

Relevant responsible people of CCCC department Party committee and Overseas Business Department, Sun Liqiang - CRBC Vice President and the general manager of the general manager department of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project, Li Qiang - CRBC Vice President and General Manager of Kenya Office, and Qi Xiaobo - Secretary of Party General Branch of the General Manager Department of Mombasa-Nairobi Standard Gauge Railway Project were present at the meeting.
