The Ministry of Transport of Laos Issues the Final Acceptance and Taking-over Certificate of Pakbeng Mekong River Bridge Project

On March 29, 2017, the Ministry of Transport of Laos issued the final acceptance and taking-over certificate of Pakbeng Mekong River Bridge Project.

This project comprises of bridge and roadbed. The roadbed connecting line is 321.838m long and 9m wide. The bridge is 379m long in total, including the main bridge with the spans 66m+120m+66m and approach bridges with span 1*30m on the north bank and 3*30m on the south bank. The upper structure type is continuous box girder; the designed bridge deck width is 13m (including sidewalks on both sides); the lower structure type of the main bridge is hollow thin wall pier and pile foundation, and the lower structure type of the approach bridge is cylinder pier and pile foundation.
