SONOCC Hits New High in Cement Sales in 2017

Recently, a piece of good news comes from SONOCC that a total of 166,500 tons of cement were sold throughout 2017 (as of December 25, 2017), 40,000 tons over the annual sales plan, hitting a historical record.

In 2017, SONOCC proactively improved its processes, production efficiency and actively adjusted the sales strategy, transferred its focus of sales from large infrastructure construction sector to ordinary civilian sector.

With the concerted efforts of the entire staff, SONOCC ultimately outperformed its annual sales goal, and sold a total of 147,000 tons of 32.5# cement and 19,500 tons of 42.5# cement. SONOCC even hit a historical record that the highest single month sales reaches 17,700 tons.

To further reduce the operating cost and improve the profitability, SONOCC has launched its “Coal for Oil” Renovation Project, which is expected to be put into production in the first half of 2018, significantly relieving the cost increase caused by rapid rise of crude oil price and shortage of crude oil supply.
