CRBC Signs Commercial Contract for Cocody Cable-Stayed Bridge in Cote d’Ivoire
On December 27, 2018, CRBC Cote d’Ivoire Office received the Letter of Acceptance issued by the Ministry of Equipment and Road Maintenance (Ministre de l’Equipement et de l’Entretien Routier) noting that CRBC is granted with the Commercial Contract for Cocody Cable-Stayed Bridge in Cote d’Ivoire (Travaux de construction du pont de Cocody). The parties duly signed the commercial contract on January 28, 2019 after effective commercial negotiation.
Rendering of the Project
Crossing Cocody Bay in Abidjan, the Project links Prado Region and Cocody Embassy Region, which will dramatically relief regional traffic pressure and become one of the landmarks in business center in Cocody Bay after completion. Funded by the Islamic Development Bank, the Project has the construction duration of 24 months and involves the construction of a herringbone tower cable-stayed bridge, with a 109m tall main tower and 630m long main bridge. After completion, it will be the largest cable-stayed bridge in West Africa.
