Cambodian Prime Minister Praises CRBC’s Proactive Participation in Cambodian Red Cross Society’s Donation

On May 8, Cambodian Red Cross Society held a grand ceremony in Phnom Penh headquarters to commemorate the 156th anniversary of the World Red Cross and Red Crescent, chaired by Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen and Bun Rany- Hun Sen’s wife and Chairman of Cambodian Red Cross. CRBC Cambodia Office participated in the activity upon invitation and donated USD 300,000 to the Cambodian Red Cross Society.

Prime Minister Hun Sen noted in his speech that all achievements made by the Cambodian Red Cross Society attribute largely to the participation and contribution of enthusiastic people from all walks of life. He extended his gratitude to CRBC for its long-term and strong support for Cambodia’s charity undertaking, and called on all walks of life and enthusiastic people to participate in charity activities to benefit the Cambodian people.
