CRBC Signs Commercial Contract for New Belgrade-Surčin Section of E763 Expressway
Date: 08/25/2019On August 18, Zhang Xiaoyuan, CRBC Vice President and General Manager of the Central and Eastern Europe Regional Center signed the Commercial Contract for New Belgrade-Surčin Section of E763 Expressway in Serbia with Zorana Mihajlović, Vice Prime Minister and Minister of the Ministry of Construction, Traffic and Infrastructure of Serbia and Zoran Drobnjak, Executive General Manager of Serbia Road Company in Serbian Presidential Palace under the witness of Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and Chinese Ambassador to Serbia Chen Bo. Tang Xiaodong, Commercial Counselor of China to Serbia was also present.

The parties had friendly talk after the signing ceremony. Zhang Xiaoyuan extended the sincere gratitude to the Serbian Government and the Chinese Embassy in Serbia for their long-term trust in and support given to CCCC and CRBC. As he noted, CRBC will allocate excellent resources to ensure the smooth implementation of the Project and build it another superior project of CRBC.
Serbian President Vučić extended his gratitude to the Chinese Embassy in Serbia, CCCC and CRBC for their efforts and contributions to the economic and transportation infrastructure development in Serbia. He noted that Serbia is willing to partner with the Chinese Government, CCCC and CRBC to facilitate the launching of relevant projects, thus accelerating Serbia’s socio-economic development and further benefiting local people.
With a total length of about 8km, the contracted project is the starting section of E763 Expressway and connects the downtown Belgrade with the Surčin-Obrenovac Section being constructed by CRBC.
