CRBC Wins the Award for Pioneer Enterprises in Supporting the Belt and Road Initiative

On the evening of November 22, the Awarding Ceremony of the Gold Camel Award of the Belt and Road Global Chambers of Commerce and Associations Conference 2019 (GCCAC 2019) was held in Beijing. CRBC won the Award for Pioneer Enterprises in Supporting the Belt and Road Initiative. CRBC Vice President Wang Lijun accepted the award on behalf of CRBC.

Held under the guidance of the All-China Federation of Industry and Commerce and the People’s Daily, GCCAC 2019 is sponsored by people.cn and Global Times, supported by Belt and Road Portal and Beijing People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, and undertaken by Huanqiu.com and Silk Road Chamber of International Commerce Limited. As the first world-class occasion with social organizations such as chambers of commerce and trade associations from all over the world as the main participants, GCCAC 2019 is aimed to build an international cooperation and exchange platform for the interaction, integration and coordinated development between chambers of commerce and associations in China and countries along the “Belt and Road”, as well as chambers of commerce and associations in countries across the global. It also envisions deeply integrating into the “Belt and Road” construction to give full play to resources advantages of global chambers of commerce and associations, and further deepen the international cooperation.

The “Gold Camel Award” an authoritative award with benchmarking significance of the Belt and Road Global Chambers of Commerce and Associations, while the award for Pioneer Enterprises in Supporting the Belt and Road Initiative is presented to specially recognize excellent organizations with great contributions to the promotion of international exchanges and cooperation relying on the “Belt and Road”. CRBC has undertaken a remarkable number of landmark projects since it made presence overseas in 1958. At present, CRBC has carried forward the Silk Road spirit, proactively fulfilled its social responsibilities, and integrated social responsibility into business development and project construction management under the guidance of the “Belt and Road Initiative”, winning extensive praise from people in host countries.

This award is an impetus for CRBC to further practice the “Belt and Road Initiative” and encourages CRBC to further seek the mutual development with countries along the Belt and Road.
