CRBC Chairman Lu Shan Visits Senegalese President Macky SALL

On October 29, CRBC Chairman Lu Shan paid a visit to Senegalese President Macky SALL in Senegal. The parties had an in-depth communication about issues of common concern. CRBC Vice President Ye Chengyin was also present.

Lu Shan extended the sincere gratitude to President Macky SALL for his long-term support for CRBC’s work in Senegal. As he noted, CRBC will closely follow the national development strategies of Senegal and China, continue to fully participate in the infrastructure construction in Senegal through investment, BOT or other means, and promote the social and economic development of Senegal, thus making contribution to the attainment of Senegal’s revitalization program. With regard to the BRT Dakar PPP Operations Project just commenced, CRBC will surely mobilize all superior resources necessary for project construction to satisfactorily complete the project and make it another excellent model project in Senegal.

President Macky SALL highly recognized the tremendous contributions made by CRBC to the infrastructure construction in Senegal. He noted that the satisfactory completion of the THIES-TOUBA Toll Expressway Project ahead of schedule is exactly the evidence of CRBC’s excellent management ability. Thanks to the THIES-TOUBA Toll Expressway Project, China’s successful expressway operation experience was introduced to Senegal, further enhancing the all-round cooperation between China and Senegal. He hoped that CRBC could apply more Chinese experience for the BRT Dakar PPP Operations Project and build it another excellent model highway project in Senegal.
