Philippine and Chinese Officials Inspect Bridges Project

Recently, Philippine and Chinese government officials inspected the China-aid Bridges Project in Manila, the Philippines (Binondo-Intramuros Bridge and Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge) undertaken by CRBC.

Mark Villar, Philippine Secretary of Department of Public Works and Highways, highly praised the Project Department’s great efforts for the orderly and effective resumption of work and production in the face of COVID-19 when inspecting the Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge Project.

When inspecting the Binondo-Intramuros Bridge Project undertaken by CRBC, Huang Xilian, Chinese Ambassador to the Philippines, Jiang Jianjun, the Economic and Commercial Counsellor of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Republic of the Philippines, and Isko Moreno, Mayor of Manila affirmed the Project Department’s great endeavors to guarantee zero COVID-19 infection of employees through strict anti-pandemic measures, as well as the great achievements made in orderly progress of project construction.
With the total length of 734m and 506m respectively, Binondo-Intramuros Bridge and Estrella-Pantaleon Bridge are both designed with two-way four lanes. After completion, the Project will dramatically improve the traffic capacity and connectivity of Manila and benefit local people.
