Wu Guoquan and his delegation first visited the exhibition hall and listened to the overview of the entire Project. Then, he inspected the construction site of K27 + 447 interchange overpass, the paving construction site for the hydro-stable subbase of the second bid section, and the VR Experience Center and listened to the report on the project construction progress, safety in production, engineering quality management and technical innovation.

Mr. Wu recognized the scientific management measures of "highlighting both the epidemic prevention and production" and commended the project builders for overcoming the impact of the epidemic and smoothly advancing the construction with quality and quantity guaranteed. He pointed out that, the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Port Expressway Project is a major project invested and constructed by China, which was concerned by people of both countries. He hoped that the project department would continue to work hard, actively fulfill its social responsibilities while promoting epidemic prevention and control at a high level and implementing project construction efficiently, and build the Project into a benchmark project of the "Belt and Road" Initiative, contributing more to the China-Cambodia Friendship.
Jing Jun said that as a financial partner of the Project, he was proud of the orderly progress of the project construction. He hoped that the two sides will work closely to contribute to the “Belt and Road” Initiative.
Zhou Yong, Assistant General Manager of the Company and General Manager of the Company's Cambodia Office, thanked the Embassy and ICBC Phnom Penh Branch for their strong support for the Project. He said that the Office will live up to their high expectations and make full use of the successful experience of CCCC and CRBC in the construction and operation of expressways at home and abroad to do well in every link of the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Port Expressway Project including investment, construction, and operation, and build CRBC into a “golden brand” of infrastructure construction market in Cambodia.
