Two Sections of Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Port Expressway Project Completed

On March 24, the 27.05-kilometer asphalt concrete surface of the fifth section of Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Port Expressway Project in Cambodia was fully paved, taking the lead in achieving completion. On March 28, another good news was reported- the 35-kilometer asphalt concrete surface of the second section of the main line was also completed. So far, one-third of the Project has completed the asphalt surface construction.

As the first expressway in Cambodia, the Phnom Penh-Sihanoukville Port Expressway Project connects the capital Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville Port, the country’s largest seaport, with a total length of about 187.05 kilometers. After completion, it will greatly shorten the journey between the two cities, greatly promote the economic development of Cambodia and improve the local livelihood environment.
