CRBC Wins Nine Awards at Hong Kong Green Awards

At the awarding ceremony of the 16th Hong Kong Green Awards held recently, seven projects under CRBC Hong Kong Branch won a total of nine awards, including two gold and two silver awards. Specifically, the Construction of Siu Ho Wan Water Treatment Works Extension and Siu Ho Wan Raw Water Booster Pumping Station received a gold award in Green Management. The Site Formation and Infrastructure Works at Tseung Kwan O - Ying Yip Road received a silver award in Green Management. The Site Formation and Infrastructure Works for Yuen Long South First Phase Development - Contract 3 received a bronze award in Green Management and a silver award in Environmental, Health and Safety. Site Formation and Infrastructure Works for Public Housing Development at Ex-Mount Davis Cottage Area in Kennedy Town received a merit award in Green Management and a merit award in Environmental, Health and Safety. The TME Stations, Viaducts and River Crossing received a gold award in Green Management. The Kwu Tung North District Cooling System and the Shek Kip Mei Stormwater Storage Scheme and Drainage Improvement Works in Eastern District and Lei Yue Mun each received a merit award in Green Management.

Organized by Green Council, the Hong Kong Green Awards are among the most influential environmental awards in Hong Kong. They aim to drive continuous improvement across industries in areas such as corporate green governance, green management, environmental health and safety, and sustainable procurement. This year's awards saw participation from over 160 enterprises and organizations across various sectors. The recognition reflects CRBC Hong Kong Branch’s strong commitment to fully integrating environmental concepts and implementing effective green management throughout project construction.
