Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon Attends the Opening Ceremony of Vanj River Bridge Project

On July 28, the opening ceremony of Vanj River Bridge Project in Tajikistan-China Highway Phase II undertaken by CRBC was held, and Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon attended the ceremony and cut the ribbon for the opening of the Bridge.

In his speech, President Emomali Rahmon stated the constructors of CRBC overcame various difficulties such as harsh natural environment and inconvenient transportation and made great efforts to guarantee the successful completion of the Bridge. He expressed his sincere thanks to CRBC and all the employees of the project and hoped that CRBC could make persistent efforts, participate in the construction of more projects and make contributions to the nation building and people's happiness of Tajikistan.

Vanj River Bridge Project is the most important bridge of the Tajikistan-China Highway Project, and it is 145.76m long in total. The construction of the project started on August 2, 2014 and it passed the preliminary inspection on June 26, 2015. The completion and opening of this project guarantees the smoothness of the important commodity transport passage Tajikistan-China Highway, facilitates the trade contacts between China and Tajikistan and has an important significance to promote the interconnectivity in Central Asia.

Ganjzoda (Ганджалзода Шерали Рахмон) - Minister of Transportation of Tajikistan, Shodih Gamidudo ((Шодихон Джамшед) - governor of Gorno-Badakhshanskaya and relevant responsible people of CRBC Tajikistan Office were also present.
