CRBC Chairman Lu Shan Attends Activities on Hungary-Serbia Railway Project

The Hungary-Serbia Railway Joint Working Group composed by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce, the Export-Import Bank of China, China Railway, CCCC and other relevant departments visited Serbia from June 5 to 6. During the visit, CRBC Chairman Lu Shan visited her Excellency Zorana Mihajlovic- Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Transport of Serbia, and attended the China-Hungary-Serbia Traffic and Infrastructure Cooperation Meeting jointly presided over by Wang Jianjun- Deputy Director of Department of Foreign Capital and Overseas Investment of NDRC and her Excellency Zorana Mihajlovic.

Her Excellency Zorana Mihajlovic warmly welcomed the working group, and committed to further lend support for the construction of Hungary-Serbia Railway. Deputy Director Wang Jianjun reviewed the advancement of Hungary-Serbia Railway, and clearly defined the goals to be achieved in the next step. Both parties reached consensus on the further advancement of Hungary-Serbia Railway, and committed to complete the commercial negotiation as soon as possible, so as to sign the contract during the China-CEEC Summit to be held this year.
