CRBC Employees in Kenya Win Awards in "My Kenyan/Chinese Story" Essay Competition

In the past few days, the award ceremony of "My Kenyan/Chinese Story" Essay Competition hosted by Chinese embassy in Kenya was held in Nairobi, capital of Kenya. Liu Xianfa - Chinese ambassador to Kenya, Ethuro - Speaker of Senate of KenyaKenya's Senate President and Li Qiang - CRBC Vice President and General Manager of Kenya Office attended the ceremony. This activity started in March, 2014, and it was greatly supported by the Chinese enterprises in Kenya, State media, Confucius Institute and Chinese and overseas Chinese. And 328 articles in Chinese or English were received and among them, 32 won the award. Mo Kun - a CRBC employee in Kenya and the local employee Koech won the second prize of the articles in Chinese or English, respectively; and Wang Junyang also won the Excellent Work Award.

Mo Kun's work titled "Love of Kenya" - Rush to Turkana records the event that CRBC organized employees to participate in the disaster relief in Turkana in 2011; in the article titled A Unique Life Journey, Koech, who has served in the Company for over 20 years, tells the story where CRBC provided disinterested assistance when his life was extremely difficult because of his daughter's high tuition and house rent; Light a Lam, Realize a Dream tells the deed of Wang Junyang actively and enduringly helping the local poor students to realize their dream of studying.  These works show the deep friendship between people of the two countries, record the deed of CRBC actively fulfilling the social responsibility in Kenya and the contribution CRBC makes to promoting the relation between China and Kenya.
