CRBC President Du Fei Meets with Moctar Ould Djay- Financial and Economic Minister of Mauritania

On September 6, CRBC President Du Fei met with his Excellency Moctar Ould Djay- Financial and Economic Minister of Mauritania who came to China to attend 2017 China-Arab States Expo. Both parties had an in-depth communication about the projects of CRBC in Mauritania.

CRBC President Du Fei noted that China-Mauritania Integrated Marine Industrial Park and Capital Fishing Port Project in Mauritania are key investment projects of CRBC. Currently, the projects have been put in negotiation stage, and it is hoped that both parties could make joint efforts to solve all the difficulties in the process, so as to implement the projects as soon as possible and achieve the goal of “concurrent development and production”.

Minister Moctar noted that the Government of Mauritania has attached great importance to China-Mauritania Integrated Marine Industrial Park and Capital Fishing Port Project, and will vigorously cooperate with CRBC and implement more preferential conditions to promote the initiation of projects. He also noted that Mauritania boasts abundant fishery and mineral resources and that CRBC is encouraged to participate in more resource development projects in Mauritania.
