Construction of the Project

The starting point of the project DUPLICATION OF RN1 BY IMPROVEMENT AND ASPHALTING SECTION TOGBLEKOPE-DAVIE is located on the northern margin of TogbléKopé, where is town concentrated area. The route goes along the old RN1 to the north and passes the towns AdétiKopé et Davié, connects with the existing RN1 after passing Davié toll station.

The project uses a separate roadbed, the old road is directly used, the right half-width is newly constructed to form a separate two-way four-lane road, the design speed is 80km/h, the middle band width is no less than 10m, the road width are divided into two types: 13m and 14m. Pavement structure from top to bottom: 5cm fine grain asphalt concrete, 8cm medium grain asphalt concrete, 12cm graded gravel base, 30cm cement-stabilized white sand subbase, including a middle bridge, a small bridge and drainage, protection, traffic security, lighting works.

The length of the project is 10.4km, which is divided into two parts. The first part is from the starting point to Davié toll station, the length of which is 9.6km, completed in 2016; The second part includes Davié toll station and connection road, currently in the construction phase.

During the implementation of the project, more than 300 technicians and machinery operators were recruited and trained locally.
