Kyrgyzstan ADB60km Road
Kyrgyzstan ADB60km Road Project is 60km long in total. The construction started on November 1, 2012 and the construction period is 36 months. The completion of this project will improve the transportation conditions at the border between China and Kyrgyzstan, greatly facilitate the trade contacts between China and Kyrgyzstan and play an important role in promoting the economic development of Kyrgyzstan.
With a total length of 60km, ADB 60km Project is a part of Bishkek-Naryn-Torugart Road, and ends at Torugart at the border of China and Kyrgyzstan. The section connects the passes at both China and Kyrgyzstan, and is hailed as the extension of the ancient Silk Road. It not only promotes the import and export trades between China and Kyrgyzstan, but also becomes the benchmark project of China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative. The Project receives unanimous praise from local traffic department in terms of “safety, environmental protection and quality”, significantly promoting the development of CRBC in Kyrgyzstan.
