Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen Attends the Opening Ceremony of Extension National Road 76 Constructed by CRBC
On November 21, the opening ceremony of Extension National Road 76 constructed by CRBC with the preferential export buyer's loan provided by the Chinese government was held in Ratanakiri Province. Hun Sen – Prime Minister of Cambodia and his Excellency Xiong Bo – the Chinese ambassador to Cambodia attended the ceremony and cut the ribbon for the project opening to traffic. CRBC Vice President Liu Hong also attended the ceremony.

Prime Minister Hun Sen expressed his sincere thanks to the Chinese government and people for their precious help for Cambodia and their commitment to promoting the economic development of Cambodia. Afterwards, he issued the National Construction Medal to some Chinese people including Vice President Liu Hong to commend their outstanding contributions to the construction of Extension National Road 76 and the friendship between China and Cambodia.
Extension National Road 76, located in Mondulkiri Province and Ratanakiri Province in Northeast Cambodia, is 171.78km long. After its completion, Extension National Road 76 will connection National Road 76 and National Road 78, and together with National Road 8, Mekong River Bridge and Tonle Sap Bridge, they will constitute the skeleton road network of Northeast Cambodia.
