CRBC Signs the Commercial Contract for Bishkek Municipal Road Network Improvement Project in Kyrgyzstan

On September 16, CRBC and Bishkek Large-scale Construction Administration of Kyrgyzstan signed the commercial contract for Bishkek Municipal Road Network Improvement Project in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. His Excellency Sun He –the Chinese economic and commercial counselor in Kyrgyzstan, mayor of Bishkek City and relevant people of CRBC Kyrgyzstan Office attended the signing ceremony.

This project is 95.33km long, including the renovation and reconstruction of 49 municipal roads in Bishkek, capital of Kyrgyzstan, and it is the second phase project of capital road improvement project of Kyrgyzstan. This project is the first official project with non-reimbursable assistance after the “localization”pilot project between the governments of China and Kyrgyzstan –“Bishkek Municipal Road Renovation and Improvement Project in Kyrgyzstan” which is 7.48km long, including the renovation and improvements of three municipal roads, and it is a good example of CRBC actively carrying out localized operation and seeking common development based on the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce.

The implementation of this project will further improve the transportation conditions of Bishkek and promote the local economic development and employment. Besides, the deep cooperation in transport infrastructure project will also further enhance the communication between China and Kyrgyzstan and realize mutual benefit and win-win.
