The Graduation Ceremony of CRBC-CAU 1st Co-educated Students from Congo-Brazzaville is Held
On the morning of June 10, the graduation ceremony of CRBC-CAU 1st Co-educated Students from Congo-Brazzaville was held at the Academic Exchange Center of Chang’an University(CAU). Alain AKOUALA ATIPAULT–Minister of Congo-Brazzaville Special Economic Zone, Daniel OWASSA–the Ambassador of Congo-Brazzaville to China, and his Excellency Xia Huang–the Chinese Ambassador to Congo-Brazzaville, CRBC President Lu Shan, and CAU President Ma Jian attended the ceremony, and witnessed this important moment.

At the ceremony, President Lu Shan expressed his congratulations to these students on their excellent achievements. He hoped they could apply what they learned and serve their country after graduation, and said the students’ growth could not go without the care and education of CAU and hoped that CRBC and CAU could deepen the cooperation, expand the communication and continue to send excellent talents to the society. Mr. Lu Shan pointed out that Congo-Brazzaville was one of the key markets of CRBC, and that CRBC undertook a lot of projects with great influence in Congo-Brazzaville; he hoped that these students could make greater contributions to the development of national economy and people's livelihood of Congo-Brazzaville together with CRBC. After that, Mr. Lu announced the list of students winning the offer of CRBC Congo-Brazzaville Office and awarded the agreement of employment to them.
Alain AKOUALA ATIPAULT–Minister of Congo-Brazzaville Special Economic Zone, in his speech, expressed his thanks to the generous financial assistance of CRBC, extended his satisfaction at the foreign student education program and also placed high hopes on the first 20 graduates. He said this ceremony did not only manifest the close cooperation in the past, but also determined the common vision in the future, and that the co-educated graduates would make new contributions to the friendship between China and Congo-Brazzaville.
At the ceremony, President Ma Jian stressed the importance of university-enterprise co-educated overseas students studying in China. He said this program would cultivate a lot of pillars of the society and that these students studying in China would become messengers of communication between China and Congo-Brazzaville and play an inestimable role in deepening the traditional friendship between two countries.
At the ceremony, President Lu Shan, leaders of CAU and officials of Congo-Brazzaville jointly presented certificates of merits and awards to the students winning the title of “Excellent Graduates”.
CRBC and CAU signed the agreement on co-education of students from Congo-Brazzaville in 2010; in 2011, CAU received the first group of students from Congo-Brazzaville. At present, 100 students from Congo-Brazzaville are studying in CAU. In June, 2016, the first 20 students from Congo-Brazzaville graduates smoothly.
CRBC Vice President Li Quanhuai, CRBC Deputy Chief Economist Zhang Jianguo and General Manager Li Changgui of Marketing Department were also present at the ceremony.
