Special Envoy Chen Zhenggao of President Xi Jinping Visits CRBC’s Projects in Congo-Brazzaville

On April 17, a delegation led by Mr. Chen Zhenggao - Special Envoy of President Xi Jinping and Minister of Housing and Urban-Rural Development inspected Brazzaville Cable-stayed Bridge and Viaduct constructed by CRBC.

On the Cable-stayed Bridge, Mr. Chen Zhenggao spoke highly of CRBC because it could overcome the overseas unfavorable construction conditions and complete such a large and difficult project and expressed his congratulations on Congo-Brazzaville and Chinese enterprises jointly building this “horizontal curved cable-stayed bridge with the longest main span in the world”. He said that the Chinese enterprises presented the high level and high quality in Congo-Brazzaville.

On the Viaduct, Minister Bouya of Land and Resources Management and Large Works of Congo-Brazzaville mainly introduced the complex project CRBC Congo-Brazzaville Office was promoting to Mr. Chen Zhenggao, and Mr. Chen put forward professional guiding opinions after asking the situation of the water level and channel of Congo River.

After the visit, Mr. Chen had a friendly talk with the representatives of the Chinese enterprises at the building of Congo-Brazzaville Office and asked the relevant situation of New Pointe-Noire Port with interest.

Xia Huang, his Excellency of Chinese Ambassador to Congo-Brazzaville, Yang Peipei–the Economic and Commercial Counselor, NSILOU–Minister of Housing of Congo-Brazzaville and Mamina - Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Congo-Brazzaville were also present.
