From July 29 to 31, CRBC Vice President Wang Lijun paid a working visit to Mozambique Office.

On July 29, the delegation led by CRBC Vice President Wang Lijun listened to the report on the latest progress of the Project in northern connecting line and north concrete anchorage work sections of Maputo Bridge.

On July 30, CRBC Vice President Wang Lijun visited Su Jian- Chinese Ambassador to Mozambique, and Liu Xiaoguang- Counsellor of Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office of the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Mozambique. CRBC Vice President Wang Lijun extended his gratitude to the Embassy and Economic and Commercial Counsellor’s Office for their long-term and vigorous support and help, and noted that CRBC will complete the projects in progress with high quality as scheduled, and continue to proactively implement the “Belt and Road” Initiative and support the economic development of Mozambique. Ambassador Su Jian hoped that CRBC could properly manage all the projects under construction, implement the China-Mozambique Capacity Cooperation Strategy and make innovation in market expansion, and noted that the Embassy will always give support to all the businesses of CRBC in Mozambique.

On July 31, CRBC Vice President Wang Lijun visited the construction site at the south bank, listened to the reports on current progress, safety & quality, as well as the localization by the project principal, and learnt in detail the fabrication, transport, anchoring and installation schemes of steel box girders for the steel box girder erection works to be commenced in October. Then, he visited the south connecting line section, checked the toll station, soft basement section and asphalt pavement. He emphasized that the Project Department should strictly control the production quality, ensure the production safety, and further improve the management level.
