CRBC Party Secretary Yang Yongsheng Calls on President Ali Bongo Ondimba of Gabon

On April 18, Mr. Yang Yongsheng – CRBC Party Secretary and Vice Chairman and Wang Lijun–CRBC Vice President called on President Ali Bongo Ondimba of Gabon, and they had an in-depth communication on CRBC’s business development in Gabon.

President Bongo expressed his welcome to the visit of the delegation and spoke highly of the excellent achievements of CRBC in the infrastructure construction field of Gabon. He pointed out that the ongoing PORT GENTIL-OMBOUE Road and Bridge Project (PO Project) and PORT GENTIL City-out Road Forasol-MBega Section (FM Project) were excellent in the aspects of quality, progress, safety and environmental protection, so they were praised by all walks of life of Gabon. He hoped that in the future, both parties could strengthen the cooperation in energy and water resources investment and financing, and that CRBC could root in the market of Gabon for long and make more positive contributions to the friendship between China and Gabon through making joint efforts to benefit people of Gabon.

Mr. Yang Yongsheng expressed his thanks to President Bongo for his care for and trust in CRBC. He stated that PO Project and FM Project had an important strategic significance to the national economic development and improvement of people's livelihood of Gabon, so CRBC would strictly perform the contract requirements, continue to accelerate PO Project with a high standard and high quality and actively promote the construction progress of the first 10km of FM Project to guarantee the successful holding of relevant events of 2017 African Cup in PORT GENTIL. At last, Mr. Yang stated that CRBC would, guided by the “emerging Gabon” strategic plan, better adapt to the development demands of Gabon, spare no effort to realize the strategic objectives of “green Gabon”, “industrial Gabon” and “serving Gabon” and make CRBC become a close partner and an important driving force of Gabon’s economic development.

After the talk, Mr. Yang accepted the interview of the state television of Gabon, introducing the development strategy of CCCC and CRBC and the overall planning of CRBC’s development in Gabon. That afternoon, the delegation also called on Mr. Jean-Pierre Oyiba – Minister of Infrastructure, Housing and Land Management of Gabon.
