Senegal Branch Donates Rice to Disaster-affected Area of Senegal

On August 15, the Embassy of China in Senegal and CRBC Senegal Branch donated 12.5 tons of rice to Kaolack, Senegal, which was seriously affected by flood in the past few days. His Excellency Zhang Xun - the Chinese Ambassador to Senegal, Lv Yifeng - the Economic Counselor and Dong Futang–CRBC Chief Accountant attended the donation ceremony.

Sare, Mayor of Kaolack expressed his thanks to the Chinese Embassy and CRBC for their generous help. He said as a true friend of people of Senegal, China had always provided a lot of help and support to the economic and social development of Senegal, and that the donation of rice of China was “timely help” for the local disaster-affected families, and confirmed the friendly relationship between China and Senegal.

After the ceremony, Mr. Dong Futang and his Excellency Zhang Xun visited the local disaster-affected families on the scene of the disaster, expressing their greetings.
