CRBC Successfully Signs the Investment and Cooperation Agreement for Ecuador Quito International Airport Passage to the City
On March 28, witnessed by his Excellency Wang Lin, the Chinese Ambassador to Ecuador, CCCC Vice President Sun Ziyu and Mauricio Rodas Espinel mayor of Quito City, Zhang Xin - General Manager of CRBC Ecuador Office and Alejandro larrea - President of Quito Municipal Transport and Public Works State-owned Company signed the investment and cooperation agreement for Ecuador Quito International Airport Passage to the City. This is the first investment and cooperation agreement signed by the state-owned enterprises of two countries in the transportation infrastructure field.

Ecuador Quito International Airport Passage to the City is to be constructed in PPP mode. It is about 4.6km long and comprises of two bridges with a total length of about 500m; the construction period is 28 months and the operation period is 30 years. After the completion, this project will greatly relieve the traffic pressure of going into and out of Quito, facilitate the travel of local residents and enhance the regional economic development. This project is the first successful overseas transportation infrastructure investment project of CRBC, so it has the milestone significance. The project fully accords with the overseas strategic planning of the Group, conforms to the requirements of industry chain upgrading and transformation and shows the transformation from "industry" to "commerce".
