CRBC Chairman Lu Shan Accompanies CCCC President Liu Qitao in Meeting with His Excellency Ruhut- Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs of Indonesia

On June 15, CRBC Chairman Lu Shan accompanied CCCC President Liu Qitao and Vice President Wen Gang in meeting with the delegation led by his Excellency Ruhut- Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs of Indonesia and his Excellency Sugeng Rahardjo- Ambassador of Indonesia to China who visited China as the special envoy for the “Belt and Road” of Indonesia in the building of CCCC. Both parties exchanged views with each other on the scheme for implementation of the “Belt and Road” Initiative in Indonesia, and had a communication about the key cooperative projects concerned by both parties.

CCCC President Liu Qitao extended the thanks to his Excellency Ruhut for his second visit, and noted that Indonesia is a key country along the “Belt and Road” with promising market prospect, and that CCCC is willing to continue to enhance the cooperation with the Government of Indonesia to promote the implementation of key projects. Meanwhile, he hoped to establish the contact mechanism with the governmental team of Indonesia assigned specially for the “Belt and Road” Initiative.

CRBC Chairman Lu Shan introduced his Excellency Ruhut the development and operation status of CRBC in Indonesia. He noted that, as signature projects of CCCC and CRBC in Indonesia, Sishui-Madura Bridge and Tayuan Bridge are important foundation for the enhancement of the cooperation between China and Indonesia in the field of infrastructure, and that CRBC will accelerate the initiation and implementation of Viton Industrial Park Project and ensure the smooth completion of Thoreau Road Project.
